CIO Vendor Smart cards industry is expected to reach USD 14.1 billion by 2023 despite the increasing use of smart phones and the disruption brought by virtualization. Smart phones have proliferated in the market making a way for virtualized mobile credentials, which has created a smart card vs. smart phone debate.
